« Ajabu Announces His Candidacy For Congress!! | Indianapolis Mayor's Race, Joe Paterno & Muammar Gaddaffi »

Occupy Wall Street; Federal Reserve; Julius Malema

It looks like the world bankers are actively implementing their strategy for world domination. I have demonstrated and spoke at Occupy Indianapolis and Occupy Brownsburg here in Indiana. The points make at both of these rallies apply to Zimbabwe, South Africa and the rest of the African continent. To solve a problem one must first understand it. The problem with the American economy, which affects the world's economy, is America does not make its own money. The Federal Reserve Bank, which is a private bank I might add, actually prints the Federal Reserve Note that is used as U.S. currency. This currency is printed based on nothing of value. It used to be based on gold or silver, but President Richard Nixon took U.S. currency off of the gold standard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRzr1QU6K1o Herein lies the problem. http://www.cmi-gold-silver.com/gold-standard-inflation-fiat-money.html Zimbabwe has started using U.S. dollars to do Zimbabwe's business. This autmatically puts Zimbabwe's economy in the Federal Reserve's control. The Federal Reserve is continuing to print money to finance America's wars which is making the dollar worth less and less. Zimbabwe needs to print its own money. The key is to base the printed money on the gold resources of the country. Zimbabwe has some of the largest gold deposits in the world. Do not let that gold leave the country. Store that gold and print a currency tied to those gold reserves. This move will make the Zimbabwean dollars one of the most sought after currencies in the world. Along with basing the currency on the gold the government must implement the policy that any business done with Zimbabwe must be done with Zimbabwe's currency. Continentally this is what Col Khaddaffi was trying to do. He proposed to create a continent wide currency based on the gold standard. This would render the U.S. dollar to realize the useless piece a paper that it really is. The leadership of the ANC should be ashamed of itself. Comrade Julius Malema is trying to give the leadership some backbone. http://www.fm.co.za/Article.aspx?id=158910 Supposedly black Africans have taken over the country but whites still control the wealth. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/southafrica/8711891/Julius-Malema-profile-the-political-demagogue-whom-everyone-loves-to-hate.html President Mugabe and ZANU-PF has shown South Africa It is really unfortunate that Africa did not come to the rescue of Col. Khaddaffi with all he has done for our beloved continent. Outsiders cause his demise and death. Now South Africa through the ANC is trying to do the same thing to our brother Malema. However, what the ANC is doing to Malema is worse than what America did to Khaddaffi. The attempted demise of brother Malema is being done by our own family!! Read the following: http://www.dispatch.co.za/news/article/2348 ANC SHAME ON YOU. Malema is directing our people internationally in the right direction. The conversation can't be to isolate him because he is telling us right. The conversation has got to be about how to cause land and mine reform so the reform benefits the masses of our people. Just as the OWS demonstrators have to identify the Federal Reserve as being the problem we as African have identify our lack of control of our lands resources is our problem. Actually the two go hand in hand. I am running for the Congressional seat in the 7th District of Indiana. I am running because the present Congressman, Andre Carson, voted to bomb our beloved Africa and also supported the sanctions on our beloved Zimbabwe. We must support each other no matter where we find ourselves on this planet. We cannot be our own enemy. Up you mighty race!! Accomplish what you will.

It is obvious Ajabu posted that apology and pretended Dawn faked it. God sees everything you do Jabby. You are a joke. A racist joke. I do hope you run for Congress, because there are enough stupid people who may vote for you and split the vote with Andre and hopefully the 3 rd candidate will take the 7 th seat. I don't care who they are, they have to be better than you. I still doubt you can pull the votes away from Andre but it will be amusing to watch you and your radical beliefs crucified in the court of public opinion. If you are running for a political office, you may want to learn to write using proper grammar. At least John knows how to compose a post. You are hilarious. Lucky for you murdering the English language isn't an actual crime. It just shows your lack of education and enlightenment. Almost as much as your hateful rhetoric. Happy Turkey Day you jive turkey.

And just for the record....that poor African dude who actually seemed to love America? That was NOT me. You deleted him dismissively. Because he disagrees with you....because he believes that America has really tried to mostly right things to correct past wrongs....you thought he couldn't REALLY be an African man (or woman - I cannot be sure). Whoever he was, he didn't agree with you. Even though you are THE TRUTH (Most arrogant statement in the world). Maybe Ajabu, you really aren't the righteous person you credit yourself to be. SELF righteous is a better description.

Bunneh/Dawn

I want you to compare Reverend Ajabu to Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Sarah Palin, and Michelle Bachman. We hear them make stupid statements and we are aware of their ignorance of simple American history. Can you imagine what Rick Perry, Herman Cain, and Sarah Palin's writing would be like if they didn't have others to write for them?

Anyone can make mistakes when writing, what you need to concentrate on are the brilliant and logical ideas that are in his writings. Don't try to divide and conquer because Ajabu and I are well aware of that cheap tactic.

Herman Cain, Perry and Bachman are running for president with their embarrassing ignorance of simple American History which has the whole world laughing at them. Instead of wishing for Ajabu to lose the local election, you need to concentrate on your Conservative Republicans.

Can you imagine any of those candidates writing on their own instead of using others to write for them. It is not so much the writing style as it is the substance and the ideas put on paper.

Now, leave Ajabu alone and start answering my points about the Conservatives in America who have brought this nation to the brink with their Herbert Hoover plan for the American economy.

John, there is no point in discussing anything with you. I don't think I've ever run up against as closed a mind as yours.

Ajabu made a mistake that affected me. Perry, Cain and Palin did not. You and he owe
Me an apology.

Wow!! Dawn admits she wrote something then turns around as her alter ego and says she didn't. That girl needs help. I truly wonder why she gives me so much attention. Where is her husband? Why don't she give her attention to someone who wants it? I am still praying that she gets the help she really needs. I hope she be good. Oh my fault. That ain't the right english. Well at least something got did. LOL.

John,

Let's talk issues. Rick Perry can't remember the third agency he would cut from the Federal budget. Almost the next day Herman Cain catches the same disease and don't know his position on Libya. That stuff that Dawn/Bunneh has is catching. We must make a point to stay away from them.

I really liked Newt's position on immigration. He would really be the GOP's best candidate he just don't know how to keep his little head under control. Plus his dabbling in corruption are big hurdles to overcome. It just goes to show how weak that field is.

Now Ron Paul really has the best position for the GOP and America. America has got to change its philosophy. It be not good to try to keep the same philosophy of times past. Oops!! There I go again. LOL!! l

I am really going to have a bunch a fun on this campaign as I create a worldwide platform to raise pertinent issues. And rest assured that I am going to whip Andre's butt!! my brother just keep on being you and rest assured I will keep on being me. And please continue to pray for Dawn/Bunneh and that little African man that was running around in her house after dark using her computer while her husband was doing a house call. Lord, strange things happen in that house. I will continue to pray for all of us, including me.

Again Ajabu has removed posts of myself and others who disagree with him or point out facts about him that he would prefer remain hidden. He selects what he will let you see and hides what he doesn't want you to see. He does not respect the people who read his blog and everything he does is for his own personal gain. He also needs to update and delete all the inaccurate data on his trumped up biography. He is the one who lies and tries to distract you from the facts. He states anyone who disagrees with him has to be in the KKK or some other hate filled group. He uses those lies to try and distract you from the truth. It is a devious ploy to throw you off his scent, but his character and the dirty back room deals and underhanded scams he perpetrates stink so bad that everything smells his moral decay. He even snidely attempts to imply sexual inuendo and makes nasty insinuations about any women who stand up to him and declare the truth about him. What kind of religious man speaks nasty like that? Judge for yourself. Look at past articles on this blog and past postings. This man is a false prophet. A liar and slanderer. How can you trust someone who censors you by deleting posts that disagree with him? Think for yourselves. Break away from his negative and hateful rhetoric. Quit letting him make you think that all African-Americans are victims. You are not. He says up you mighty race, accomplish what you will and his next post is a radical statement to further set back America, black and white alike. He talks about Africa this and Africa that when in actuality he has no clue about the African experience. Why does he not do something to help the people in the Sudan? Why does he not help the women and children of Darfur. He says nothing about them because there is no political power play he can make to use to his advantage. Think for yourselves. Don't let his hate and the ugly things he says cause you to fall from the right path. All of this ugliness that he does is because he blames white people for his son's incarceration in prison for the murders MIDI was involved in. Kofi

There he goes again about my husband. Ajabu leave my name and talk about my husband off your filthy blog. Apologize. And then you and John can go on with your discussions about the master race.

November 26, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterDawn

"Wow!! Dawn admits she wrote something then turns around as her alter ego and says she didn't".

Can someone please tell me where this man comes up with this stuff? Ajabu, I am neither The Bunneh or that African person. You are deluding yourself. I have been Dawn and Conservative Christian on this blog. But Johns eyes roll back in his head and he froths at the mouth at the word Conservative...so I'm just Dawn.

Just tell the truth you libelous deceiver. You attributed (and still do) words to me that are not mine. You continue to defame me on your blog. Apologize, and do note tion my name again

November 26, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterDawn

Wow!! Can you believe it? Someone tell me why Dawn/Bunneh does not go give the attention that they are giving to me to their men? There is an undercurrent in their posts. With all the time this duality of a person spends with me why does she not spend this time with her husband? Does he not want her attention? What is it? I'm just askin? There I go again. Left that "g" off that word. Something has just got to get did about that. I believe my campaign is going to bring out all the kooks. We are just seeing an inkling on this blog. When my campaign starts in earnest there will be all kinds of accusations about my character. I am so thankful that you know me. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Even Dawn is going to eventually find time for her husband, if he wants it, and leave me alone. I don't want her attention. Never have, and can't see a time I ever will. I will continue to pray for her and her alter ego and also that poor African man that also resides in her psychology. Lord help her. This campaign is going to make America be real with itself. The America of yesterday is not the America of today. It must beging to be real with itself. Lord has blessed me with position to help the process. Thank you Father!! I am still praying that Dawn will leave me alone and go spend the time that she spends on me to spend it with her husband. Please Father, send her to her family. Amen.

Thanksgiving . . . But Who to Thank?
“Insight With Jocco”
Guest commentary (a historical overview on Thanksgiving) by William Loren Katz

William Loren Katz is an American educator, historian, and author of many books on African-American history, including a number of titles for young adult readers. He is particularly noted for his extensive writings on the 500-year history of relations between African-Americans and Native Americans in the New World.

In 1621 Governor William Bradford of Plymouth proclaimed a day of Thanksgiving - but not for the Wampanoug saviors but his Pilgrims. His Christian settlers had staved off hunger through their courage, resourcefulness, and devotion to God, that was his spin. To this day most politicians, ministers and educators describe this First Thanksgiving as the Governor did. Years later Pilgrim Reverend Increase Mather asked his congregation to give thanks to God "that on this day we have sent six hundred heathen souls to hell."

Thanksgiving remains the most treasured holiday in the United States, honored by Presidents since the Civil War when Abraham Lincoln used it to stir northern patriotism. Thanksgiving has often served political ends. In 2003 President George Bush flew to Baghdad, Iraq to celebrate Thanksgiving Day with U.S. troops. He brought a host of media photographers to capture him carrying a glazed turkey to the troops. He flew home in three hours, and soon after TV brought his act of courage and generosity to Americans. But the turkey he carried to the soldiers in Baghdad was never eaten. It was cardboard, a stage prop . . . Thanksgiving as a photo-op.

Currently Thanksgiving celebrates not justice or equality but aggression and enslavement. It affirms racial beliefs that led to the world's worst genocide -- the wanton destruction of tens of millions and ancient cultures. It's time for a different American Thanksgiving. I suggest one that honors the American continent's freedom-fighting tradition creating an alternative society to combat modern day disenfranchisement and mental slavery. Another noted historian and researcher, Dr. Leroy Vaughn, MD, MBA, Historian, African Chief, his chronicles from a lost ancestry reignites the spirit and humbles the soul. Our history has been rewritten to confuse and obstruct a rich cultural heritage from the truth. While we pause to give thanks…to what one might ask are we giving thanks for? After honoring GOD for giving you the strength, health and wisdom to make your own decisions, family, friends and helping our fellow man should be the nexus for all our blessings. Nigeria: Recipe for Defeating the West
Idang Alibi
1 November 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

opinion

WHEN I was much younger, I used to think that the white race has developed to such a level that its people no longer lie or cheat or even obtain other peoples' belongings by foxy-cunning, barefaced thievery or anything close to stealing under false pretense.

But now with maturity and greater wisdom, I have come to the understanding that the whites lie, not just like other races, but even more than others for they sometimes add to their own lies and dishonesty, open robbery.

They do not just say the untruth to obtain other people's goods and possessions, but are so greedy and desperate that they sometimes do not mind killing people in order to have access to their resources, which they consider instrumental to the survival of their economies.

They launder their rapaciousness under the pernicious doctrine of 'national interest'.

And because they dominate the world at the moment, they often employ the United Nations to give their dastardly acts a veneer of legality, morality or civility.

But any unjust or immoral conduct carried out by any other name would smell as odious.

Sometimes, they do not even bother about any niceties at all: they just bypass the UN, the WTO and other 'world' institutions they themselves have set up to legitimise some of their ungodly conduct and march on like old-fashioned colonialists to subdue and subjugate other people to their imperial rule and proceed to help themselves of what God has given to those who are not

privileged as they are.

What am I driving at? You guess right: I am thinking here about the latest onslaught carried out by the west in the illegal removal of Libyan leader, Muammar Ghaddaffi, in order for them to have access to the vast oil and gas fields of that country.

And they did it under the guise that Ghaddaffi was killing some Libyans opposed to his rule.

They carried out their dastardly act, using the UN as a cover to destroy the socio-economic infrastructure that Ghaddaffi had put in place in his 42-year reign.

What is most annoying to some of us who can see through the wicked subterfuge they often employ is that they say with a straight face that they are motivated to invade Libya because they love ordinary Libyans who are being mistreated by Ghaddaffi's 'dictatorship'.

Greater love has no man for a particular people than this: that an alliance of military world powers assembled some of the most sophisticated armaments and waged a sustained aerial bombardment of a small and powerless country to kill and maim so many and destroy so much in other to protect so few.

With the killings and destruction, the Americans, French and Britons have wrought on a country that was once a model of development on the African continent, some reasonable Libyans will soon start to forcefully demand that they prefer a dictatorial Ghaddaffi than the 'democratic' stooges now in place.

My humble prediction is that when the Americans, the French and the Britons are through with Libya by giving her 'democratic freedom', the country will

join the rest of African countries in becoming a poor and debt- ridden basket case.

She will now become 'eligible' for foreign 'aid'.

At one point she will become a member of the poor and highly indebted countries, making her eligible to have her 'debt' forgiven.

Very soon IMF and World Bank officials will set up a shop in Libya's finance ministry to 'help' her find solutions to her 'balance of payment difficulties'.

Very soon, Libyans will learn new vocabulary and phrases such as policy support documents, subsidy, deregulation, credit rating, structural adjustment and other strange ideas under which the imperialists hide to wreck promising nations that act as an obstacle to the greed of the west or which have the potential to compete for influence with them.

From my little place where I sit to think about some of the happenings in our modern world, I have formulated what you can call Idang Alibi's Manual on how to engage the West and win.

As law drafters would say when they make some pieces of legislations, this article can also be cited as 'Ghaddaffi's Mistake'.

The piece can also be read with that title because it is premised on the idea that Ghaddaffi made some fatal mistakes in his relationship with the rapacious leaders of the western world for which reason he has finally kiss the dust and lying six feet below the earth.

What are the lessons patriotic leaders of developing countries need to learn from the painful fall of Ghaddaffi?

The possession of weapons of mass destruction is a desirable strategy of wading off the predatory designs of the west upon your country.

Therefore, do everything within your powers to acquire them.

November 26, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterIdang

Idang,

You and Jocco have very interesting points. If a leader wants to be independent and not subjected to murder was was Khaddaffi then the leader should do every thing in their power to gain a nuclear weapon of mass destruction. I think this is Iran's strategy. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

November 26, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterRev. Mmoja Ajabu

It's always funny to see Ajabu pull in articles written by other people into his blog as if those people are writing for his blog...to try to change the dialog when it becomes uncomfortable because he doesn't look powerful, as he hopes, but rather, very very very small. Nobody pays any attention to this blog. And so, since it is obvious, Ajabu is a pitiful broken down old racist who has no shred of character, or any following....who cannot even utter a simple apology when he was clearly out of line....I will leave him to his blog which consists of himself, John the irrational, Bunneh, and the articles from people who Ajabu tries to pretend are writing to this audience.

This run for Congress should be hysterical.

November 26, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterDawn

I have to admit that I am looking forward to the massive joke factory his campaign is gone open up. Noone respects you Ajabu. I had the time of my life when you were all backing that punk Brandon Johnson and his whore of a mother. Because of you they looked a little too closely at her welfare fraud. I wonder, does she make you pay her rent now? This campaign will be comedy fodder for years to come. Look back at his last campaign for a preview of this one. EPIC FAIL.

November 26, 2011 | Unregistered Commenterthe Bunneh

Now I see it!! Dawn's husband works long hours, she feels lonely, so she spends her time on the blog with me. Girl get you a life. Tell hubby you need some attention. I wonder if he stays away from home because the behavior you display on this blog is the behavior you display at home. Hummm. Now that may be somethin. Ajabu please put "g" on the end of your words LOL!!! Lord this is so much fun. It shows you what the campaign will be like. There will be kooks from across the board who will try everything to the breadth of their imagination to attack me and try to change the discussion. It won't work.

Dawn/Bunneh is showing her American self. She is trying to hide it in Christian language. What Christian would call Brandon's mother the name that Dawn as her alter ego just called her? Christian?? PLEASE. And this poor little African that was in her home using her computer at 9 at night, and now we find out her husband was not at home. This is the reward she gives her husband working long hours to support what appears to be her ungrateful butt. She is really telling on herself. I am beginning to think that her husband does not want her attention that why she is on this blog stalkin me. Ajabu quit leaving that "g" off of your words!! Dawn as her alter ego does not like that. You keep on actin like you are not under her control. Man you better quit it. Don't you know she's a white woman? LOL LOL LOL!! I am lovin it. And it is highlighting my point.

America must change its philosophy. Idang is from Nigeria. He is telling his countrymen that in order for America to understand that the world will not slave for it anymore. You can see how this message is hard for Dawn/Bunneh to digest. America has got to understand that to be equal and treat people as equals is not a bad life. It will be hard for them but they will have to accept it. It seems the only GOP candidate that understands is Ron Paul. I am going to do an analysis of Ron Paul on my radio show Monday. If he does not get the GOP nomination I hope he runs as an Independent. I told Melina Kennedy and her handlers that she couldn't win with an endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police. She had to show herself to be the friend of the victims of police behavior. Now I am sending a warning to President Obama. This warning is you jeopardize your chances for victory if you keep turning your back on the African and African American community. If Ron Paul runs as an Independent he could very well siphon enough votes to seriously hamper your chances for victory. Eventually y'all are going to listen to me. More to be said in the near future. Keep on praying for Dawn/Bunneh. Pray that her husband comes home so she can give him so attention, assuming he wants it, and so she can leave me alone. I truly do not want her attention. I'm in love with a beautiful black woman. I mean just royal black and pretty. Black women are the pinacle of beauty. I refuse to accept anything less. Thank you Father!! Thank you.

November 26, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterRev. Mmoja Ajabu

Wow!! Now Dawn/Bunneh stoops even lower. She is not happy at home so she wants no one to be happy at home. Why does this woman continue to stalk me? I am telling you this campaign is going to bring out all the kooks. The freaks come out during the campaign LOL!! Dawn's comments as her alter ego displays the psychological problems that America has with treating the world fairly. Its history has been to treat everyone as being inferior to America. This is just not so. This point will be drilled into the psychic of America during the campaign. God didn't create America and her white creators superior to anyone. In fact, the way that America has conducted herself a good argument can be made that she has acted inferior to all others of the world especially people of African descent. Ron Paul seems to understand. Dawn using her alter ego, and her made up African male friend that is in her home at 9pm at night on her computer while her husband is away are all fighting this reality. Dawn it is going to be alright. You are no better than anyone. America will survive and really have better relations with the world once she accepts that she is no better than anyone. Now go give your husband the attention you are giving me!! Don 't he want it? Oh that's right, he ain't there. Ajabu did you use the word "ain't"? You know Dawn/Bunneh dem don't like that. Don't you know that dey's white and you's black and you's posed to do what dey say? Lawd, Lawd, Lawd. Dawn you and the rest of America that holds your views better wake up. That America is long gone and to never return. The military just slew 24 Pakistanis. Pakistan has closed it borders so the U.S. can supply troops in Afghanistan. When so-called friends treat America this way because of America's behavior don't you know it is time to re-evaluate your philosophy? You better get to know it. I am still praying for you. Really loving this beautiful black woman. I believe in having the best!! Black woman there is no better. White women try to tan to look like you. They put foreign stuff in the lips and butt to try and achieve the fullness of you. I know, and anyone that knows beauty knows they are not you. Thank you for being you. I will continue to pray for Dawn/Bunneh that her husband will let her give him some attention so she will leave me alone. I don't want her attention. I have a beautiful, I mean beautiful black woman!!!

Washington (CNN) - Hours before a CNN GOP presidential debate that focuses heavily on national security and foreign affairs, a new national survey indicates there are wide partisan divides between Democrats and Republicans over some top global flashpoints.

Overall, Republicans are ready and willing to use U.S. military force in other countries; Independents and Democrats tend to be very reluctant to do so. From President Obama's decision to withdraw U.S. combat troops from Iraq, to the conflict in Afghanistan, aid to Israel, the practice of "waterboarding" and the political battle over immigration reform and border security, a CNN/ORC International Poll released Tuesday indicates a Democrats and Republicans don't see eye to eye.

See full results (PDF)

The poll's release comes hours before the major Republican presidential candidates face off in a CNN presidential debate on national security, foreign policy and the economy. CNN is teaming up with the Heritage Foundation and American Enterprise Institute, two long time Republican-leaning think tanks, to put on the debate, which is being held just a few blocks from the White House.

While the candidates appear to be in agreement that President Barack Obama's presidency has mostly been a failure when it comes to foreign policy, and that the president's policies have only weakened the country's security, and its standing among the world's nations, they also disagree on some top issues that will come up in the debate.

"Republicans who tune into the debate will probably like what they hear. Most of the candidates have taken positions on these issues that strike a chord with the average GOP voter," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "But Democrats and some independents who watch the debate may be turned off by what they hear."

Here's a breakdown of the poll, by issues.

USE OF MILITARY FORCE

Americans have grown increasingly reluctant to use U.S. military force around the world, but - unlike Democrats and independents - Republicans feel that the U.S. should be ready and willing to take military action. Overall, 53% of all Americans say the U.S. should be very reluctant to use military force, up from 38% in 2002, about a year after the 9/11 attacks. But there is a big partisan divide on that question, with a majority of Democrats and independents expressing reluctance but only four in ten Republicans feeling that way.

IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN

President Obama's plan to withdraw troops from Iraq by the end of the year is wildly popular among Democrats and independents, but most Republicans believe that Obama should keep some combat troops in Iraq beyond that deadline. One reason may be that a bare majority of Republicans continue to favor the war in Iraq; Democrats and independents are opposed to the war in large numbers. Overall, six in ten Americans say that they favor Obama's plan to bring all U.S. troops home from Iraq - not surprising when only 8% of the public believes that there are goals that the U.S. has not achieved in that country but would be able to do so if troops remained. But 54% of Republicans want to see a continued U.S. military presence in Iraq; only 42% agree with Obama's plan. There is a similar partisan divide on Afghanistan, which remains just about the only Obama policy that Republicans support.

IRAN

A large number of Americans don't think the U.S. should take immediate military action to get Iran to shut down its nuclear program, and on this topic Democrats, independents, and Republicans agree. Overall, only 16% of all Americans support military action now; two-thirds want to see the U.S. use economic and diplomatic efforts against Iran rather than military action. Republicans are slightly more likely to support military action, but even among that group support rises to only 22%.

ISRAEL

Aid to Israel has been in the news recently as the result of some comments made at the last GOP debate, held earlier this month in South Carolina, but there is little debate among Republicans nationwide on that issue. Nearly seven in ten Republicans believe that economic aid to Israel should be increased or kept the same; more than eight in ten say the same about military aid to Israel. Democrats and independents are more likely to oppose either form of aid to Israel, although all groups favor military aid to that country.

WATERBOARDING

Most Americans believe that "waterboarding" is a form of torture, but while Democrats and independents think the U.S. government should not be allowed to use this procedure on suspected terrorists, 69% of Republicans don't have a problem with its use. In part, that's because 56% of Republicans don't think "waterboarding" is torture.

IMMIGRATION

Not surprisingly, there is a big partisan divide on illegal immigration. A majority of Americans - and a supermajority of Republicans - say that the country's top priority on immigration should be stopping the flow of illegals and deporting those already here. But an overwhelming number of Americans also express sympathy for illegal immigrants and their families; Republicans, however, are split on that question. Overall, 55% say a crackdown on illegal immigration should be the government's top priority, rising to 71% among Republicans. A large majority of Democrats and independents feel some sympathy towards illegal immigrants, but Republicans are split on that question.

The CNN poll was conducted by ORC International from November 18-20, with 1,019 adult Americans questioned by telephone. The survey's overall sampling error is plus or minus three percentage points.

Early Saturday morning, NATO helicopters opened fire on two checkpoints in the Baizai area of Mohmand, Pakistan, killing at least 24 members of the Pakistani Armed Forces. From Reuters:

A spokesman for NATO-led troops in Afghanistan confirmed that NATO aircraft had been called in to support troops in the area and had probably killed some Pakistani soldiers.

"Close air support was called in, in the development of the tactical situation, and it is what highly likely caused the Pakistan casualties," said General Carsten Jacobson, spokesman for the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).

A few questions are in order, not the least of which is how gunships confused a couple of sleepy outposts in Pakistan with hostile forces. To be sure, "close air support" doesn't necessarily mean that ISAF (the U.S. and NATO-led International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan) was exchanging fire with enemy combatants. The intended target might well have been an enemy encampment separating ground forces from their objective, in which case calling for fire would have been a reasonable and necessary measure. (So long as said encampment was in Afghanistan.) As of yet those details are unavailable. What we do know is that the most important factor in close air support is "combat identification." While everyone involved plays some role in making sure air power is properly directed, it falls to the joint-terminal attack controller to issue a "cleared hot" on the right target.

Obviously, that didn't happen here.

What did happen is yet another violation of Pakistani sovereignty. This is undoubtedly accidental, but won't exactly play well in Islamabad, or the local press. After all, by way of armed drones and commando operations, the West has essentially claimed right to much of Pakistan's airspace. With relations between the U.S. and Pakistan in a perpetual state of collapse, and Pakistan's security situation deteriorating by the day, it's hard to predict what comes next, but easy to say that it won't be good. Additional internal political pressure on an already volatile nuclear regime is undesirable, to put it mildly.

The Guardian reports that "a senior western official" claims NATO acted in self-defense. This is very likely true, in as much as the Afghanistan-Pakistan border is a hot zone of militant activity, much of which appears tolerated by Pakistan. Someone may well have fired at NATO forces. But one is hard pressed to make the argument that an outpost of sleeping Pakistani soldiers were engaged in such kinetic operations.

In response to the incident, Pakistan has closed routes used to usher much-needed supplies into Afghanistan. According to one report, "During the suspension period, thousands of NATO supply trucks were stranded on the ways from Pakistan to Afghanistan and hundreds of them had been attacked and torched, causing a heavy loss for the NATO troops." Meanwhile, Pakistan has issued an eviction notice to U.S. drones stationed at Shamsi Airfield in the Balochistan region, which is strategically close to the crucial border intersections of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran.

From here, it falls to the diplomats to smooth things over. And they have quite a job ahead of them. Pakistan may indeed by the ally from hell, but they are (however ostensibly) an ally. How long we can claim even that much remains to be seen.

Pakistan is not "ostensibly an ally" - Pakistan is simply an enemy state that is too afraid to confront the US/NATO directly, so they simply feign being an ally while continuing hostile activity. While taking billions in US aid, they're helping the Taliban - that's not a real ally, that's an enemy. Any so-called action they take against Taliban is really action to protect themselves, which doesn't involve helping America or the West. So stop calling them an ally, because doing so is a disservice to the US troops who are being killed and maimed by them.

This ridiculous situation represents not only a failure in American military and political leadership, but also a failure in commentary and analysis by the American media, who should be putting the lives of American military personnel ahead of the feelings of duplicitous Pakistan.

Everyone, read this post:

"Wow!! I have a beautiful, I mean beautiful black woman!!!"

First of all, this is demeaning to women in so many ways. Are petite Asian women ugly? American women and women around the world are all women. But Ajabu is a racist. He is no different than Hitler. There is no "most beautiful" race. Ugly comes from the inside and Ajabu has that in full.

Are the thoughts of this post what America or the world needs? Are Pakistanis innately evil? Jews? White people? Are black people MORE righteous? Isn't this man exactly what he has always professed to hate?

November 27, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterDawn

Dawn makes an excellent point. Ajabu is always saying how white people think they are superior to other races, then turns around and does the EXACT SAME THING!!! What a hypocrite. We are all equal Ajabu. It is a persons actions and what they are like on the inside that elevates them or takes them down. You will never learn Ajabu. Also, the nasty innuendo that throw around so casually? Those are not words a truly good and righteous man even thinks, much less posts on his blog about people he doesn't even know. Dawn and her husband have been married for over 25 years. My husband and I have been married for over 22 years. It seems we must know a great deal about what it takes to create a strong and loving bond with our husbands. How long was your longest relationship Ajabu? Think about that the next time you want to cast aspersions on the character of another.
I do genuinely wish to apologize to the lady you are dating about the leash law comment I posted on the last post I made that you deleted. She is probably perfectly lovely. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with her. So, I do, in fact apologize to the lady you are seeing.

November 27, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterThe Bunneh

Well!! Looks like we have made a little progress. Dawn/Bunneh is almost talking about the issues. Like see if we can't get her focused.

Dawn/Bunneh,
Don't make me say something I didn't. I said nothing about petite. That's America's standard of beauty. Or was. Now a bunch of white women have shown the world that they want what black women have and God didn't give to them. This is exactly the behavior of which I speak. This behavior in my experiences, and in a bunch of other people's experiences, is typical white folks behavior. Again Ron Paul, and his followers, are showing themselves as exception to this typical white behavior. This is the behavior that America must change. The world is not what it used to be. You are displaying my very point.

Bunneh/Dawn:

I reversed the names because the duality of your posts. Dawn/Bunneh shows an excellent point. She/you are making the point. Dawn if you keep trying to play this dual personality it is going to drive you crazy. That is just a warning to you about your mental health. You better quit!!

Now here is where we agree. Yes we are all equal. But the history of white folks shows that you have traditionally considered yourself to better than others. White folks even codified in their law that it took five black people to be equal to three white folks. The record is clear about white folks false sense of superiority. I am not aware of any other people to make such arrogance the law of their land!! I am not just saying something to be saying somethin. Ajabu put the "g" on your words. Come on!! LOL. No the record is clear. White folks have actually been the scourge of the earth but was strong enough to force people into accepting their behavior as being alright. Those days are over. That is the message being sent by Pakistan as they re-evaluate the relationship it has with America. Iran is telling America that it is not afraid to rumble in the sand with America. That battle in Libya is not over. There are still skirmishes taking place. Iraq is very unstable although America change the rule of Sadaam Hussein. The troops dropped off in Uganda on an assasination mission is a farce. The world knows that the assasination mission is just a ruse used by America so it can have a presence on the African continent to launch clandestine raids in Sudan, and the Congo. America must change its philosophy or perish because of its hard head. The ugly American is arising again. Nobody will see America as someone to be a friend to. Even Americans are disliking the way America is being run. That is why there is the Occupy Wall Street movement that is spreading across the country. The cop at U.C. Davis sprayed those children with pepper spray. Mark my word. It is only a matter of time before a trigger happy cop actually fires on them college students. Ajabu did you say "them"? I meant to say dem. LOL!! This is so much fun but so serious. I am going to quit taking pot shots at you Dawn or Bunneh which ever one you at any thime pose as. But I truly believe that your husband, hopefully he does, would like to have some attention. Go hug him, if he will let ya. Quit being so arrogant. Don't be mad at me because i know the facts. The fact is that white folks for the most part have not conducted themselves in a civil and humane way in carrying out their international affairs. This is not a racist statement. It's a fact. I pray for you Dawn/Bunneh, America that y'all change your ways. I pray that God will continue to order my steps and let no weapon formed against me to prosper. Thank you Father.

Catherine is Bunneh. Dawn is Dawn. Everyone who can tap a name with their mouse can see these are separate Ip addresses. Catherine has been married 22 years. I have been married 25. Catherine has made an apology. You, on the other hand....

evil is not racial. There is one reason why blacks and Indians and other indigenous peoples have been treated poorly over time. Power and superior technology. Indigenous peoples of Africa and south America have fought eachotherong before Europeans colonized the earth. Anyone who thinks any race has more of a handle on peace and justice than any other is delusional.

What is obvious to anyone who reads this blog is that you have NO ability to handle power. You make things up, you intentionally mislead and misrepresent, you delete people's words you cannot handle and you cannot admit when you behaved despicably and owe an apology. According to people at your church, you also are arrogant and talk over the top of people.
