White man, shoots black boy and because white man says black boy made him to be in fear of his life then white man is determined to be justified in the killing of the black boy. I am sick of it. As a people we have got to mature and show the world that we care for our women and children. Trayvon was our child that got shot for being in possession of some Skittles. There has got to be a dear price paid by the people that hand out this kind of injustice to our children.

I certainly advocate for justice in the Trayvon case, but I am concerned when we rage and mobilize when one of ours dies at the hands of a white man, but we cower and embrace "no snitching" when one of ours dies at the hands of ...our "brothers!" I know you have always stood for justice when any of our innocents die, but we need to begin hold our people accountable for it all! I SNITCH - I Support and Nurture the Intellect, Talent, Culture and History of our people ... And I'll hold a brother as accountable for killing our babies as I will a white man!
Toby: those are two different issues without a link. Both need to be addressed but one does not relate to the other. Each needs to be addressed in its own conversation. Black people are held accountable by law no matter what crime is committed. Crime on others or crime on us the legal system holds us accountable. White folks all too often are not held accountable when their crime is against us. It is the discriminate application of the law that is the problem and that is the focus of this sister's ire. And mine too I might add. If I had been in that room neither of those two white men would have put a hand on sister. And any attempt would have been at their own peril.
