Excercising Our Legal Rights Will Cost Lives

 

That’s a hell of a statement to make. However, its true. In 1857 under the fourteenth amendment to the United States Constitution citizenship was extended to people of African descent that were born in this nation.This amendment was passed to offset the ruling made by United States Supreme Court Justice Roger Taney in his ruling concerning the suit brought against the slave master Sandford by the enslaved Dred Scott. In this suit Dred Scott made the argument that he had “been the slave of an army surgeon and had lived for four years in Illinois, a free state, and Wisconsin, a free territory, and that his residence on free soil had erased his slave status.” Justice Taney denied Dred’s argument using two issues. The first issue was “that Scott had no right to sue in federal court because neither slaves nor free blacks were citizens of the United States.” Now these words I am writing were actually written into law by Justice Taney. He wrote on to say “At the time the Constitution was adopted,  blacks had been regarded as beings of an inferior order” with “no rights which the white man was bound to respect.” Now if I didn’t know any better I would think Justice Taney’s ruling was still the law of the land today. People try to make us think that it is but it is not. Taney also delcard “that any law excluding slaves from the territories was a violation of the Fifth Amendment prohibition against the seizure of property without due process of law.” Can you imagine a Chief Justice having the nerve to make a ruling like that and put it writing? But he did. That was the beast with which we were dealing. But something happened eleven years later.

 

July 9, 1868 the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution was adopted. This amendment recognized people of African descent who were born in America as being citizens of America. This amendment was in direct response the Justice Taney’s ruling in his Dred Scott decision. Now understand that the fourth amemdment of the U.S. Constitution stated “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within it jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” So not only were we recognized as citizens we also had equal protection under the laws. Now are y’all understanding what I am writing? This is the law y’all.  Let me step back just a minute before I make this next point.

 

The Bill of rights is the name given to the first ten amendments of the U.S. Constitution. They were introduced by James Madison  to Congress in 1789 and became law on December 15, 1791, through the proces of ratification by three-fourths of the states. Seventy-five per cent of the states agreed that these changes to the constitution should become law. The fourth change, or amendment protected citizens from unreasonable searches and seizures. It states in fact that “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonagle searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” The way that I read this amendment makes me question how a police officer can detain you, put handcuffs on you without a warrant nor you having been charged with a crime. The way I read this amendment says for the cops to do what is normal practise today is really a violation of one’s fourth amendment right. I had to say this so I can make this next point.

 

So the U.S. Constitution already had given all citizens the right not to be illegally arrested. Buckle up. The ride is getting ruff!! Let me recap. In 1791 illegal arrests were outlawed by the fourth amendment of the U.S. Constitution. In 1857 Justice Taney said the fourth amemdment did not apply to us as people of African descent because we were inferior to white folks, owned by white folks, and not citizens so we could not sue white folks and if someone took us from white folks without due process then the white folks were supposed to be paid for us not being in their custody. Lord help me. How this country holds its head high with this kind of history is beyond belief. Do they have no shame? Now this is the crusher. In 1893 the Indiana Supreme Court ruled in Plummer vs the State of Indiana (1893) that citizens have the right to resist an illegal arrest. Let me give it to you word for word:

 

In Plummer, the defendant became angry when the Kentland Town Board ordered him to trim shade trees on his property. The defendant then “left his house with his loaded revolver in his hand, and went onto the business streets of the town inquiring for the members of the town board, making threats that he was not to be foolded with, saying they had ordered his trees to be cut down, and that he would shoot them; and, while so talking in an excited manner he would frequently brandish his revolver around” 34 N.E. at 969. After being told to go home, the defendant started walking back to his property. The town marshal then came upon the scene and ordered the defendant to “put up his gun.” When the defendant did not do so, the marshal approached the defendant from behind, struck the defendant with his billy club, and fired his gun at the defendant. The defendant, who had dropped his gun when he was struck by the billy club, retrieved his gun and returned fire. During an exchange of further gunfire, the marshal was killed.

 

Now I don’t know about you. But when I read this I said why in the hell would Plummer appeal this case to the Indiana Supreme Court. Boy he knows he is wrong as two left shoes. He done (please excuse my English, but I am trying to be grammatically correct. I tired of this crap) went downtown waving a gun around looking for members on the city county council. The police come on the scene, tell him to put his gun down, Plummer disobeys the order, so the police pop him in the head, so Plummer shoots and kills the cop. When I read this story the first thing that jumped in my mind was, Plummer’s getting ready to get the death penalty. Now that’s what I thought. But read what the court said.

 

After noting that the marshal was attempting to make an illegal arrest, our supreme court further noted that a police officer may not “use more force than necessary to effect an arrest.” 34 N.E. at 98-969. The court held that if an officer is resisted before he has used “needless force and violence,” he may then “press forward and overcome such resistance, even to the taking of the life of the person arrested, if absolutely necessary.” Id. At 969. The court then noted that the marshal had not indicated to the defendant that he was under arrest and that there had been no necessity for the marshal to strike the defendant with his billy club. The court reasoned that the marshal therefore became a “trepasser” and that the marshal’s assault with the billy club, coupled with the discharge of his weapon, “gave Plummer the clear right to defend himself.” Id. The court stated that “when a person, being without fault, is in a place where he has a right to be, and is violently assaulted, he may, without retreating, repel force by force, and if, in the reasonalble exercise of his right of self-defense, his assailant is killed, he is justified.”

 

Now don’t y’all get mad at me. This is what the Indiana Supreme Court said. This is how they interpreted citizen’s fourth amendment right to not subject oneself to an unnecessary seizure.  This is the law!! This ruling is why I say Brandon had the right to kill, Carney, Clothier and Piland. The officers used unnecessary force to effect an illegal arrest. The ruling in Plummer says in a situation like this the person who the police are attempting to arrest has the right to use the force necessary to stop the arrest. This is the law. I am stating the law. I can hear a bunch of you saying already. Ajabu you are going to get someone killed. I hope so. If the arrest is illegal then the Indiana Supreme Court says the killing is justified. It is time for police to stop beating innocent people like they beat Brandon Johnson. The police must know that people are willing to kill them to stop an illegal arrest. Yes, it is the law that we can kill a police officer who is using excessive force to make a legal arrest. What? Yes that what the law says. And likewise we can use deadly force if necessary to stop an illegal arrest. You know like I know that really Brando was lucky to just get beat. Others, who were innocent lost their very lives. Y’all remember how they beat that fifteen year old boy. Take a good look at his picture. I am sick of it. It is time for it to stop. And yes some people might get killed. In fact, some people ought to get killed if they beat a citizen like they beat Brandon trying to make an illegal arrest. If the police are trying to arrest you illegally like they were illegally arresting Brandon the the law gives you as a citizens the right to use deadly force to stop the arrest. And if in the process of you using deadly force to stop the arrest the officer gets killed then the law says you are justified. Now I know the next thing going to be said. Well Ajabu you are supposed to be a preacher. I am. And when I took on the responsibility to walk this walk I took an oath to tell the truth. The truth is being told. That makes me a good preacher. I bet I won’t stop people from coming to my church like Harrison and Ellison did over at Barnes UMC. I will not put the example of Jesus out of the church just because the mayor is in the church. I just don’t think that is what God would have me to do. I am going to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God!! Here’s some more truth.

 

July 22, 1901 in Elkins, West Virginia William Brooks was trying to be illegally arrested by Chief-of-Police Robert Lily. The following is the newspaper article that ran in the Record herald:

 

William Brooks, colored, was lynched in City Park here this afternoon by a maddened mob of 500 half an hour after he had shot and fatally wounded Robert Lilly, chief of police. Brooks was creating a disturbance in the lower end of town and when Chief Lilly tried to arrest him the negro fled into a house. The officer followed and clinched whth him. While they were rolling on the floor the officer’s revolver dropped from his pocket and Brooks seized it and shot Lilly through the abdomen. Brooks then jumped from a window and was instantly pursued by the crowd which had been attracted by the fight. He was captured after a chase of half a mile and carried to the park, where his body was soon swinging from a tree.  William lost his life defending his right as an American citizen. The mob did not give him his day in court so he could be exonerated. The law gave him the right to use the force necessary to stop the illegal arrest. Unfortunately, some of us may experience the same fate if we have the courage that William had to exercise his rights. However, if enough police get the fate that Police Chief Lily got evenutally the unecessary beating and killing of our people will stop. Let the legal killing to stop illegal arrests begin. The sooner we start the quicker it will be over. Yes I said it!! I am tired of this type of behavior from police in our community. Yes I am tired!! We must have the courage to be free. A free person will not allow the police to run over them because they are afraid to exercise their rights. A free person will take the position that I rather be dead and in my grave than to live a day as a slave. When one will not exercise one’s rights then one has volunteered for slavery. I’m am tired of teaching our people to give up their rights in order to get along with the popo. Naw, I am teaching them to rebel against this pseudo-slavery. Kill to stop an illegal arrest if you have to. Even when we give up our rights we are still getting beat and killed. Look at Brandon. He gave up his right to resist the illegal arrest and look what it got him!! It is your rights for being a citizen of these United States of America to resist being arrested illegally. We must begin to exercise our rights. As the fourteenth amendment clearly states: “nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within it jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” To kill to stop an illegal arrest is legal. We have the same protection under the law as any one else. The question for us is do we have the courage to exercise our rights? I bet for many of us the answer is yes. Blessed are those who strugge. Minister Ajabu,
Greetings and peace to you and yours. You have documented once again the disparity of justice in America, a land called 'home of the brave and land of the free'. Obviously, these noble words do not apply to people of color in America. Thank you for exposing these truths to America.

Unfortunately, the lack of response by your 'audience' gives us all pause. Why is the violent and racist history of this nation never cause of a real conversation between whites and people of color? Guilt? Reparations? Pay-back?

As a 'christian' nation, is white America afraid to repent of it's historic and current sins? Is white America unafraid of facing the Almighty and having to account for the atrocities this nation has visited on people of color? ]

Unfortunately, we, as people of color must recognize this nation is not ours and never will be ours because we are not permitted to claim it. We control nothing after 500 years of slavery, discrimination and outright racism. We don't grow our own food, build our own homes, or control any of the life supporting goods we need to survive.

When do we wake up and realize this is not the place for us? We need to find a place on earth we can call our own, grow our own food, dig our own wells, make our own clothing, provide our own energy sources, etc. In other words, we need to get off our knees, unwrap our arms from around Uncle Sam's legs, stand up, cleanse our minds of our mis-education, re-connect with our God and find another home - Africa is my preference.

Unless and until we arrive at this painful conclusion, we will continue to be frustrated by these iniquities that plaque our people. Rise up mighty race! Educate yourself about your past glory as Children of God, the original people. Discover the truth about why we are still in an enslaved state and how we can get out of it - today! Build, with thousands of others, the Kingdom of God on earth NOW. Join us?

You must not know the Bible. Eclesiastes third chapter says there is a time and place for everything. Yes, there is even a time to kill. That is not teaching against the 10 commandments. I am teaching people the law of America. I am teaching to be law abiding citizens. As law abiding citizens we have the legal right to use the force necessary to stop being arrested illegally. If the force used cause the death of the officer trying to impose the illegal arrest then the law says we are justified. This is just the law.

Woke up this morning to hear more Blacks kidz here in town shot each other up at the "Ice Cold Christmaz Jam", of course we have TOTAL SILENCE from you, the "Black Clergy" here in Indy, and Al Sharpton'z local office.

The problem isn't with the police here in Indy, the PROBLEM is the BLACK youth banger wannbe thugz, and how every one of them opens fire into a crowd when they get their fragile "manhood" stepped on. Of course, I am sure now the shooter has his "Street Cred" he will be starting his own gang now. Maybe You should advocate IPS teach a "Shooting SkillZ" class- so innocent bystanderz won't be shot or killed, then Thug-bangerz can exterminate each other more efficiently then.

Why don't YOU address THAT problem Ajabu. That is KILLING young black men NOW?? Or you must not have a problem with BLACKZ KILLING OTHER BLACKZ? Maybe when BLACK MEN acknowledge the REAL PROBLEM, instead of denying it will the killing stop.

You have your prioritieZ F'd up Ajabu, but it seems most of the Black community, including the "Black Clergy" does as well. so your obviously in good standing.

I predicted we would hear from you. It seems like you always have something to say when there appears to be a shooting of blacks by blacks. However, in this latest shooting aren't you jumping the gun just a little bit? To my understanding no one has been charged with the shooting at the fair grounds. Why does it have to be a black youth that did the shooting? Yep, I have a problem with blacks shooting other blacks. I really wish that they would stop shooting each other and start shooting police that try to arrest them illegally like those that arrested Brandon. I think those killing would have a much more positive impact on community relations. Wouldn't you agree? Shooting police and possibly having to kill them to stop an illegal arrest is well within these youths rights as citizens. To shoot, and possibly kill, a police officer who is trying to make an illegal arrest is obeying the law. Killing each other is counter productive. I would much rather these youth obeying the law than breaking the law by harming each other. I'm sure you agree.

Ajabu- if you think I celebrate it you're sorely mistaken. By the way, I am pretty sure I saw the victim from the shooting at Nick's in West Lafayette at a hospital downtown today. He was shot at the "R Rated" Hip Hop party 2 weeks ago.

This kid looks like his entire lower jaw was blown off by a large caliber weapon , with a neck exit wound and is paralyzed- all because some "Thug" got his tiny little manhood stepped on and "felt dissed". Incredible.

You have your priorities screwed up, Ajabu.

Celebrate is not the word I would use. Ignore fits better. You tend to ignore some aspects of the experience to highlight others. It is counter productive. If we look at the experience in its totality then I think a better picture evolves which should help with a comprehensive solution and the setting of priorities. Obviously you think that stopping blacks, unfortunately usely males, from harming one another should be the priority. I would humbly beg to differ. Stopping Black males from harming one another will not stop police from illegally arresting us and beating our youth like they beat Brandon. On the other hand, if the black males put as a priority to not let another beating happen to another black male youth to the degree that a commitment is made that the officer's life will be in jeopardy if he/she tries to beat someone as Brandon was beaten, then I see a love for self rising within the black male psychic where he won't kill each other but will kill the one's trying to attack his brother. I am talking about the total picture not some small aspect of it. Stopping a police officer from making an ilegal arrest and excercising one's legal right to do so can be the impetus to stop black males from harming one another. Can you see that?

You would clearly have more impact if you focused on changing the values of young black men who don't have a role model, instead of focusing on killing police. You will end up with NOTHING but a justified police action shooting, and a dead young, dumb , dead thug wanna-be.

You're argument is twisted, because you ignore facts, try to compare apples to oranges.

Go ahead Ajabu- Advise these kids to freely interfere with IMPD police who are trying to do their job, engage them in a threatening manner during the apprehension of a suspect, and then further advise them that to use their "Thug vast legal knowledge" which you have provided here to determine exactly when to pull out a weapon a raise it at a cop and fire it to kill them.

This is just a further example of why you are now a pariah, and how you make yourself irrelevant.
And let's be "real here- if the cop that beat up Brandon was Black- you wouldn't be interested in Brandon, and Al Sharpton wouldn't have come here to collect $20,000 checks to parade thru town.

In one year here in Indianapolis Blacks kill more Blacks than than police have shot in the last 100 years.

You are so predictable. You just don't want to look at this situation in a comprehensible way. The law is the law. People, no matter of race, creed or color, who are Americans citizens have the right to defend themselves against illegal aggression by police. That is the law. This is what you don't want to accept. The psychological impact of a young black male stopping an illegal arrest that ends in the death of a police officer could possibly stop the internal killing overnight. Lord knows I do not want an officer to lose his life so that young black males can see the value of their own lives. However, unfortunately I believe that is the reality in which we now live. Whether the police officer is black or white is really not an issue. If you understood the black community the psychology is most black officers are just as bad as white officers. That is not to say that most officers are bad, but it is to say that police do not have a great perception in the black community. Pesonally, I think Sharpton did not need to come to this community. Personally I think if people like you would listen to people like me then we could have honest conversation to stop all that ails this city. Blacks killing more blacks in one year than police have killed in 100 years is indicative of the greater problem. You just don't want to deal with this issue comprehensibly. Why? Do you not want black people to know and excercise our rights as Americans? Why would you fear that? Or do you not see us as Americans with the rights given most Americans by the constitution that had to be amended fourteen times before people of African descent were recognized as citizens. We are Americans. We have the right to excercise our rights as Americans. I am tired of Blacks killing blacks and think that if a police officer tried to make an illegal arrest and in the person resisting the arrest that the officer was killed, I think that might be the educational tool with the impact to stop blacks from killing blacks. It is as simple as that. Do I want that to happen? Absolutely not. Do i want black youth to continue to be beat like Brandon was beat? Absolutely not. Can an officer losing his life because of trying to make an illegal arrest set the tone for black males to stop killing black males, I think so. I am just advising people of the law. We as American citizens do not have to be passive when an officer is trying to make an illegal arrest. In fact, we don't have to be passive when an officer is making a legal arrest but is using more force than is necessary to make the arrest. The law gives us the right to resist both of these behaviors by officers. Why would you counsel us to do something other than what the law provides? Are we not Americans?

If you say that killing of an officer is in any way comparable to an officer's illegal arrest of a man, then you have the conscience of Satan. They do not equate. If it happens in this city, Ajabu, the blood that ensues will be on your hands. Jason is 100% right.
Retract this blog post. Admit that you what you advocate was grossly misguided.
A beating issued by an errant officer does not justify a killing of that officer. Never. If the officer is a racist black man who beats a white man who resists, I would never advocate that the white man kill the officer. I don't care how much caselaw you dump on it. Try it. You will fry. You are disgusting. And you are holding your true character for the world to see. No wonder you were fired from even a volunteer position.

I am often amazed at how often our people are "willing" to remain ignorant, accept what is "put on the table" without checking out what is actually in the pot or ...in the kitchen where it was cooked... (re:kitchen table deals, decision, etc...w/o anyone's knowledge who won't check???) Smile.

My sister,

Thank you for your kind words. They are really needed. I am not going to do anything brash. I am just sick and tired of police beating and killing our youth and system saying it is alright. Anybody that has a sense of right knows it was not right for Brandon to get beaten the way he was beat. Brandon followed the law. He asked the police why they were arresting his brother. Because of this question he was beaten so he looks like the picture above. Stunned is concerned that the youth and others will excercise their legal right to stop these illegal arrests. Let me be clear. I do not want an officer to be killed for trying to make an illegal arrest. Lord knows that i don't want another of our children beat and killed. But was is the recourse? The Merit Board justified the beating, as did the police chief and the mayor. The prosecutor hasn't filed charges. All of the systemic mechanism that have the legal power to do something that will deter the beatings up to this point have justified the beatings. The Civiian Reveiw Board ruled excessive force was used, but it has the teeth of a paperless tiger. In my mind, the beating of Brandon, along with the different bodies' justification of the beatings are a classic display of tyranny. The founders of the U.S. constitution has given citizens the legal right to resist this tyrannical behavior. I am advocating that we start using our rights under the law to stop the police justification for breaking the law. I know that people who read my words, and who will read my words are sick of this tyranny also. Many people around the country are saying to me that they also are tired and are grateful to know their rights under the law. I am mobilizing them so they understand that we don't have to take no more if we have the courage to excercise our rights under the law. Dr. Henry Karlson who recently passed and was the dean at Indiana university Law School would surely verify the law. I am sure he is smiling in his grave as this debate continues. He was not afraid of the law. Neither am I nor should we be. He shared with me how he got death threats when he said the police were wrong in their behavior. He called the chief and told him he would not go down without a fight. That is my professor. We came to love one another. I pray that through it all that we as the children of God will see the worth of each other and stop harming each other whether we are black, white, or in a police uniform. It just don't look like this will be done without citizens using our constitutional rights to make the police backoff. I don't want to be here, but looks like this is where we are. I can appreciate your frustration, but you are in error to call Reverend Ajabu a hypocrite. He is certainly saying exactly what he thinks, feels and would like to do. You are confused because of the legitimacy conferred on him by Light of the World Church, and specifically Bishop T Garrott Benjamin. As a respected, prestigious religious leader in the city, the silence from the established ministry that ordained Rev. Ajabu is deafening. No repudiation, no condemnation, no public correction. No- the good reverend was quietly de-volunteered and set upon the community, once again. A leopard doesn’t change its spots. And yes, the chickens will come home to roost!

You need to rethink your presentation, sir. People do not have to KILL POLICE OFFICERS to get their rights heard. Period. And if you think killing is a legitimate way to exercise your rights, you have a mental problem. NOBODY in Brandon's situation behaved well. You act like Brandon calmly asked the police officer a polite question. That is not at all what happened. He was beligerent and disrespectful and the officer. I agree that the officer should face a penalty....as does much of Indianapolis....but YOUR response is totally out of line. And when some kid dies acting on your "advice", YOU should pay the price, not the kid.

Your recognition is quite accurate. I have never been deceptive, nor am I deceptive now. If Bishop Benjamin wants to repudiate what I have said, it is well within his right to do so. But if he were to do so, then he would be taking the side of untruth. Bishop, nor LWCC bestowed legitimacy upon me. I was legitimate at birth. Bishop paid me, for a while, to use my talents to uplift social concerns within the community and church. He can't give me legitmacy. That is God's role. Bishop, nor anyone else is God. God is God all by God's self. Yes i have set upon this community again but no different than I left. When i left I was an American and I come back as an American. I am more informed. Now i know it is not illegal for a citizen to resist and illegal arrest. There is truth in the scripture that says seek and ye shall find. I sought and Lord look what I found. Have you ever thought the church was silent because it knows I am telling the truth, and it is praying that the truth will set the captive free? Think about it.

I don't have to rethink the presentation. I agree, people should not have to KILL POLICE OFFICERS to get our rights heard. I truly wish another way would work. However, it just don't seem to be the case. We waited on Chief Ciescelksi to hold accountable all the officers that beat on Brandon while arresting him illegally. That wait was in vain. He threw Piland to us knowing that his decision would not be upheld to fire him. However, we held out hope that we would get a little justice so We waited patiently on a just decision from the Merit Board. That wait also was in vain. They said they were not going to do the proper justice by Piland because he was not the only one who should stand at the bar of justice. We are somewhat pleased about the Civilian Review Board decision but that decision is like trying to buy a cup of coffee with a wooden nickel. The decison like the wooden nickel will get us nothing. This leaves us as citizens with the experience of tyrannical officers beating our youth and the beating being justified by the bodies that are supposed to give us justice. It seems that our desire for justice does not line up in agreement with the governments desire to support unjust police behavior. Therefore, citizens must make our interest converge with the governments. The constitution gives us the right to use the ultimate tool to stop this tyranny. Brandon did not have to be polite in asking his question. The law does not require politeness. Yes it would have been appropriate to ask politely but it is not a requirement. And I do have a mental problem. Do you know how hard it is for black people to see our children beat down in the street for asking an officer why the arrest of another of our children? Yea, I got a problem and am armed with the knowledge that the law gives me the right to use deadly force to stop the problem. For some reason i have to be crazy because i know the law, am sharing the law, and am promoting people to excercise their right under the law.

Yes, it would be great if we could somehow have a convergence of interests without the loss of life. But it just ain't working. The Mayor won't talk to some preachers. The Mayor won't talk to some elected officials. The preachers and elected officials that the Mayor will talk to are viewed by the community, especially the black community, as being bought and paid for puppets who are negotiating the interests of the police, not ours. If killing an officer who is trying to inact an illegal arrest is not the answer then tell me what is and how to make it happen. We have tried the integrity of the Police Chief. We have tried the integrity of the Merit Board. The integrity of the Civilian Review Board don't count because their decision has no teeth. i mean absolutely none. Alright Stunned. This is your and DA's chance. Please share an alternative that will work that does not call for us to voluntarily give up our rights and in essence volunteer to be slave. I'm listening.

How about this? Jesus was a servant. A servant. If you think you are above him, think again. He was King of King and Lord of Lords. He was beaten and broken and pierced and he triumphed. Something he promises to us if we allow him to live in us. The lies and hate you spread show he is not in you. Let him in and stop sending other young men to your personal hell.

How about this. I am not Jesus. I am not going to let someone crucify me like they did Jesus. If Jesus was an American citizen then the law gives him the right to use the force necessary to stop that illegal assasination. Jesus was killed and had not committed a crime. Brandon was beat and had not committed a crime. Jesus died so we might have eternal life. For that i give thanks. However, I am not going to hurry up the process of experiencing that which Jesus' death gave us. I am going to live my life to the fullest. i am sharing with others that as citizens we do not have to submit to an illegal arrest. We can use the force necessary to stop the illegal arrest. That stuff you are talking is the theology that slave masters used during slavery. I am not going to espouse that kind of theology that teaches people to suffer peacefully. No mam. Try something else. Accepting beatings, and killings in the name of Christianity is not an option.

Rationalization for your hate. Your life story. Children of Indianapolis, do not listen to this man or you will die. He is the voice of hate. More hate, more hate. He killed his own son, and he will kill you. Christ commanded us to serve and to love one another and turn the other cheek. If you are confronted with something like an illegal arrest, submit and live. Like Brandon, you may suffer a wound, but you will not die. The public will vindicate you. Christ will smile on you. If you listen to this hate filled murderer of his own son; this viper, you might lose your life in confrontation....and you will MOST CERTAINLY lose your soul, as he has. God Bless. Seek PEACE.
