Recent events surrounding the unacceptable behavior of the Indianapo
lis Metropolitan Police Department have caused the above question to
come to the forefront. When Brandon Johnson was brutally beaten at
the hands of Officer Piland, and two other officers, some Black preachers
wanted a meeting with the mayor. Pastor Clay, and Bishop Benjamin
were both rebuffed by the Mayor while Pastor Harrison and Ellis
were embraced. This very public experience caused Pastor Clay to bring
in Al Sharpton to try to force the Mayor to meet with him and the Baptist
Minister’s Alliance. This debacle begs the question of “Who determines
who the leadership of Indianapolis’ Black Community is?” It is reported
that the Mayor and some preachers did not want an invitation extended
to Rev. Ajabu and he was not welcome in the meetings that subsequently
took place. Now the community has learned that Rev. Ajabu has been
removed from his position at Light of the World Christian Church as
their Minister of Social Concerns. Come hear Rev. Ajabu in his own
words as he illuminates on these developments and as we reflect on this
question of who truly is the leadership of the Black community in Indianapolis.

Some of us are old enough to remember
Malcolm’s famous story about the house Negro
and the field Negro. This division was created
by the slave Massa to have one group of Negroes
control another group of Negroes so that
the Massa could sleep soundly at night, unafraid.
Fast forward in time to the 21st century and
we see the same pattern. The house Negroes
(Black ‘leaders’) are still serving the interests
of the white Massa’s (Chief of Police, Mayor,
Governor, President, etc.) by maintaining a
tight rein of control over the black community,
the field Negroes. Even with a black President
in the White House, we dare not conduct an
honest dialogue about race in America, or corruption
in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police
Department.
I only recently became aware that Minister
Mmoja Ajabu was told that he was no longer
needed as Minister of Social Concerns at Light
of the World Christian Church. The reason?
Word is, ‘Bishop Benjamin was getting a lot of
perceived pressure about Minister Ajabu because
of his speaking out in defense of the black community,
challenging the city administration and the
police.’
All of us recall the incident during Indiana
Black Expo when ten (10) young black males
were shot downtown, right? Actually, the entire
nation knows about it and is talking about
it.
Yet, Indy’s “black leadership” is parroting
the Mayor’s line about the shootings, just like
the three monkeys that symbolize ‘see no evil,
hear no evil and speak no evil’. Minister Ajabu,
on the other hand, challenged the ‘official’ police
account of what happened to those young
black males. You see, Minister Ajabu just happened
to be on the scene that fateful night and
observed what was happening first-hand. He
asked the hard questions, the questions we
all wanted answered. Yet, his questions were
dismissed or ignored by the police and the city
administration.
Shortly afterward, it was revealed that the police have videotape of the incident, but was unwilling to release it
because of the ‘ongoing investigation’. Surprise! Minister Ajabu has it in writing that the videos of the shootings have
been destroyed (Isn’t that called ‘tampering with evidence?). Mnister Ajabu, a courageous eyewitness of the incident is
now accusing the police of the shootings! Still, complete stony silence from Indy’s black “leadership”.
Minister Ajabu has continued to question and challenge “THE POWERS THAT BE” about this and other issues over
the years. He has courageously spoken out when Indianapolis’ so-called black ‘leadership’ continued to remain silent,
unresponsive and seemingly unmoved by the injustices heaped upon the black community.
But where was the voice of our black ‘leaders’ for the family when an unarmed black youth, Brandon Johnson was
brutally beaten by the police? Rev. Al Sharpton received $20,000 and the family nothing!! Why did they express outrage
for the Wells’ family when a drunken policeman ran over three cyclists, killing one and no police officers noticed the
officer was drunk, and they had nothing say in support of Brandon’s family? Could the city and the police with the help
of preachers be covering for one another?’ Why did the police destroy the videotape of the downtown shooting?
When will we, as a community, have the courage to demand justice and the equal application of the Law?
Who will voice the concerns of the black community if not Minister Ajabu? We need to stand up for someone who stands
up for us. Do you think Minister Ajabu deserves the black community’s support? Maybe a better question is: Does the
black community deserve the support of Minister Ajabu?

How do you know what they gave Al Sharpton? How do you know what the family received or didn't and from whom? I doubt either party checked in with you before they did or do anything. Even when you are on to something you somehow manage to skew things to unnecessary extremes. I'm not just talking about this, I'm talking about 90% of what you say. I was tied up and couldn't respond to Jayson's Special Education level of commentary. This idiot does not have clue about what I said on genetic annihilation.

Let me break it down to the special ed level: If you as a caucasion (because technically you are not White) has sex with a pure Black woman, the offspring will be of color. White plus Black produces a diluted White person. The Black gene is dominant over the White gene. Now duplicate that millions of times over and the White race will be annihilated. That's what Dr Welsing meant by genetic annihilation.

Try reading slowly Jayson, and look up the big words in your dictionary [that's a book that explains what a word means]. You have to advance from the "short yellow school bus" and communicate with the high levels of intelligence on this blog.

Rev. Companion of first the Gospel, and then the struggle for freedom and equality, I bid you Godspeed today kind sir. I had no sleep from yesterday until 6:00 a.m. this morning. I was in an interracial marriage 16 years ago and
the relationship ended and my mate returned to
San Luis Obispo California at that time.She thought that she was in hiding from me, but I
knew just exactly where she was. The State of Indiana took no action against me because I was
a good bread winner and father. All of out income came from me. I gave her time to find herself mostly to let her get me out of her system. We share a beautiful daughter. I have not seen her for 16 years and my wife had taken all of the money fron the house around
$80,000.00 and the police knew it both there and here in the city. That's okay that is my child she has with her. Now that my daughter has became 19 years old, I am in pursuit of her. I got all of my records and they were very accurate. I then contacted another agency that finally landed me to a group of free lance
searchers. Immediately after the leader of the group discovered that I was black, he then immediately started a criminal check only to
find my son's record that is at l5 years old abd then he started drilling me on my son's
record. I asked him what was this all about?
His answer was that; "you rambled and most peo-
ple don't ramble. If you ramble then you could be a stalker". I can't understand how that was
official or substantial grounds for a criminal
investigation based on just rambling. If it was
then I am still trying figure out where my son's criminal record came in play. I sent the email to some other friends and relatives for
an opinion and they deemed this to show racial
overtones. I then began to confront him about this issue and he immediately started cursing me and using profane and abusive language. I had to check him on that and told him to de-sist. He then took my son's criminal record and sent it all over the web in an overreac-tion and offensive to me and my son. My son and my wife got along perfectly and never had a
cross word.This man continued his attacks on me and each time he sent an email he was using
profane and abusive language. He then went and
started getting my dead brother's information and forwarded it to the FBI and my brother has been dead since 1983. He then got Covington's from all over the state that are not related to me and forwarded that to the FBI. He then started assassinating my character as crazy and
screws missing.I never saw screws in the anato-
my of the Black man when I was studying science
in school and college. He then gave "direct or-
ders" to the "FBI" to put me in a zoo. He also
gave "direct orders" to the FBI to "take me out
of it".This man has a license to order the FBI
to take African Anericans out it or to put them in a zoo. If he does not have the authori-
ty to supervise the FBI, then he is in persona-
ting a Federal Agent. After all of this, he sent email after email and somebody sent him a
copy of this article of yours and he identfied you as abigot to the FBI and then attached it to an email of mine where we are in dispute. I
percieved this to be an act to inflme the FBI
against us as Civil Rights Leaders. You must send me an email address so you can see these
people in action. I got enough of his abusive
cursing me and I cut loose on him. We ahd a 3 day battle of his cursing me and I got tired of
it and I tore him a new one.I am concerned that these people are not licensed to disclose these records and he is using these records to try to frame Blacks and emtrap them into cri-
minal charges. He has embedde himself under some African American police and you can see that he has been planted there ane eventually
he will uproot them and set them up. He has accused me of stalking my ex-wife. I have abso-
