How To Lower Gas Prices: Working Together Works!!

HOW TO LOWER HIGH GAS PRICES

The principles of economics are pretty simple. More demand will get you a higher price. Less demand will get you a lower price. By using this simple rule, and working together we can bring down the price of gasoline. Here’s how:

PLAY THE SHELL GAME!!!

STRATEGY : Play the Shell Game. If we make a specific oil company’s gasoline inventory increase then the laws of economics says that Oil Company will lower its gasoline prices. We can increase an oil company’s gasoline inventory by not buying gas from that particular company. To play the Shell Game we do not buy any gasoline from Shell. Shell’s inventory goes up, its prices come down. When Shell’s prices come down, now we give all our business to shell. That means the other oil companies inventory will increase and their prices will come down. However, we do not go buy their gasoline until the price is considerably lower than Shell’s price. Then we start buying from everyone except Shell. This will lower Shell’s price. When Shell’s price is considerably lower than the other stations we go back to buying our gasoline from Shell. By consuming intelligently we can control the price of gasoline. Everyone:

PLAY THE SHELL GAME

But to have a real impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers With the help of the internet, it's really simple to do. Now, don't wimp out at this point....keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!

I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at only ten more (30 x 10 = 300)....and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)....and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers!!!!!!!
If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it...THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE-the entire population of the United States of America !!!!
Again, all you have to do is forward this message to 10 people. How long would that really take you? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people, within one day all 300 MILLION people could theoretically be contacted during the next eight days!

Go to http://www.ajabuspeaks.squarespace.com FOR MORE INFORMATION. Pass it around widely. Washington doesn’t know how to lower gasoline prices. We can teach them. Let’s help Washington with their oil policy.

PLAY THE SHELL GAME!!!

WHERE TO BUY AMERICAN GASOLINE. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. READ ON.

Gas rationing in the 70's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even have been good for us!

Are you aware that the Saudis are boycotting American products? In addition, they are gouging us on oil prices.
Shouldn't we return the favor? Can't we take control of our own destiny and let these giant oil importers know who REALLY generates their profits, their livings? How about leaving American Dollars in America and reduce the import/export deficit?
An appealing remedy might be to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up your car you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just purchase gas from companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up my tank, I'm sending my money to people who I get the impression want me, my family and my friends dead. The following gas companies import Middle Eastern oil:

Shell.................................... 205,742,000 barrels

Chevron/Texaco.................... 144,332,000 barrels

Exxon /Mobil........................ 130,082,000 barrels

Marathon/Speedway............. 117,740,000 barrels

Amoco.................................. 62,231,000 barrels

The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude oil per day from OPEC. If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's over $550 million PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!! It won't stop here - oil prices could go to $200 a barrel or higher if we keep buying their product.

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

Sunoco......................... 0 barrels
Conoco........................ 0 barrels
Sinclair....................... 0 barrels
BP / Phillips................ 0 barrels

Hess. ............................. 0 barrels
ARC0 ............................. 0 barrels

Maverick......................... 0 barrels

Flying J. .......................... 0 barrels

Valero............................ 0 barrels
Murphy Oil USA* ............. 0 Sold at Wal-Mart , gas is from South Arkansas and fully USA owned and produced.

  • *Not only that but they give scholarships to all children in their town who finish high school and are legal US citizens..

All of this information is available from the U.S. Department of Energy and each company is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.

But, again, to have a real impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers With the help of the internet, it's really simple to do. Now, don't wimp out at this point....keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!

This is a strong plan that needs to be adopted by such organizations as the NAACP. There is a need for a national campaign to reduce gas prices. Isn't it amazing how no one wants to challenge this crisis in America. If everyone in America would apply this plan of the shell game, then we can bring attention to the oil company's and force them to lower their prices.

June 15, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterGrady Martin

Marilyn, and Grady,

Both of you see the value in us working together. If we intelligently spend our money then we can control the price of gas and anything else that we consume.

Marshall and New Breed haven't weighed in on this. Is economicic policy outside their rhealm? Time will tell. Much Love!! May God continue to order our steps.

I know the gas problem is critical but it is very boring. I think the Shell game will work if these glutonous Americans will delay gratification for just a while to put pressure on the Oil companies.

I can't speak for New Breed or Grady but you need to change this discussion real quick. It is so good to hear from our partner Grady who is a true revolutionary. If you have read New Breed, Grady, you will see a lot of yourself in his thinking.

I need to offer some topics to discuss. Pastor, We can't get through to your personal email. Will you send me your new email address.

Attacking the Saudis is useless, We need to come out of Iraq and stop spending $9 Billion a week, maybe then the prices will come down.

Your Barack Obama will take care of that, right Pastor?

June 17, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterjohn marshall

Marshall, Marshall,

I knew I could count on you to come up with a twist. And do me a favor, all money saved by bringing gas prices down that bore you please give it to me. I see you trying to recruit Grady. You think he supports the position of your's and New Breed's? That would be surprising. I can't see a "true revolutionary" supporting a questionable white woman over an honorable Black man. It just don't make sense. Economic discussions may be boring, but they are very necessary. If we spend intelligently together, then we survive this Bush and company onslaught.

I suspect that people aren't grabbed by this excellent solution because they're not hurting enough by the rise in fuel prices. But when people can think beyond their own needs --- the wealth going to the boycotting Arab nations AND the implications of this increase on the dissemination of FOOD throughout the world AND the corruption of automakers who have long resisted alternative mechanisms for running cars, then participating in this boycott is the all around right thing to do.

I'm about to send this message to 30 people. . .

You are fixated on the White woman [Hillary]. Please be reminded that Barack's momma is a White woman. It is in him and that White grandmomma too.

You can't continue to make a choice between the unknown biracial Barack and what you call "that White woman". You support a White woman's son [Barack].

We have blown a great opportunity to have a White woman who has done and can do what we need to advance us as a nation. The brother is a total unknown[to many Whites] with a convincing game that the masses of Blacks have incorporated. But it is left to those "White women and White men" who out number us that have to decide if they want the brother. Why would any reasonable Black person trust and hope that "Whites" will elect a "Blacak" brother. It just defies any reasonable logic given the racists White America we live in.

Your Whiteness is Showing

By TIM WISE

This is an open letter to those white women who, despite their proclamations of
progressivism, and supposedly because of their commitment to feminism, are threatening to withhold support from Barack Obama in November. You know who you are.

I know that it's probably a bad time for this. Your disappointment at the electoral defeat of Senator Hillary Clinton is fresh, the sting is new, and the anger that animates many of you--who rightly point out that the media was often sexist in its treatment of the Senator--is raw, pure and justified.

That said, and despite the awkward timing, I need to ask you a few questions, and I hope you will take them in the spirit of solidarity with which they are genuinely intended. But before the questions, a statement if you don't mind, or indeed, even if (as I suspect), you will mind it quite a bit.
First, for those of you threatening to actually vote for John McCain and to oppose Senator Obama, or to stay home in November and thereby increase the likelihood of McCain winning and Obama losing (despite the fact that the latter's policy platform is virtually identical to Clinton's while the former's clearly is not), all the while claiming to be
standing up for women...

For those threatening to vote for John McCain or to stay home and increase the odds of his winning (despite the fact that he once called his wife the c-word in public and is a staunch opponent of reproductive freedom and gender equity initiatives, such as comparable worth legislation), all the while claiming to be standing up for women...

For those threatening to vote for John McCain or to stay home and help ensure Barack Obama's defeat, as a way to protest what you call Obama's sexism (examples of which you seem to have difficulty coming up with), all the while claiming to be standing up for women...

Your whiteness is showing.

When I say your whiteness is showing this is what I mean: You claim that your opposition to Obama is an act of gender solidarity, in that women (and their male allies) need to stand up for women in the face of the sexist mistreatment of Clinton by the press. On this latter point--the one about the importance of standing up to the media for its often venal misogyny--you couldn't be more correct. As the father of two young girls who will have to contend with the poison of patriarchy all their lives, or at least until such time as that system of oppression is eradicated, I will be the first to join the boycott
of, or demonstration on, whatever media outlet you choose to make that point. But on the first part of the above equation--the part where you insist voting against Obama is about gender solidarity--you are, for lack of a better way to put it, completely full of crap. And what's worse is that at some level I suspect you know it. Voting against Senator Obama is not about gender solidarity. It is an act of white racial bonding, and it is
grotesque.

If it were gender solidarity you sought, you would by definition join with your black and brown sisters come November, and do what you know good and well they are going to do, in overwhelming numbers, which is vote for Barack Obama. But no. You are threatening to vote not like other women--you know, the ones who aren't white like you and most of your friends--but rather, like white men! Needless to say it is high irony, bordering on the outright farcical, to believe that electorally bonding with white men, so as to elect
McCain, is a rational strategy for promoting feminism and challenging patriarchy. You are not thinking and acting as women, but as white people. So here's the first question: What the hell is that about?
And you wonder why women of color have, for so long, thought (by and large) that white so-called feminists were phony as hell? Sister please...

Your threats are not about standing up for women. They are only about standing up for the feelings of white women, and more to the point, the aspirations of one white woman. So don't kid yourself. If you wanted to make a statement about the importance of supporting a woman, you wouldn't need to vote for John McCain, or stay home, thereby producing the same likely result--a defeat for Obama. You could always have said you were going to go out and vote for Cynthia McKinney. After all, she is a woman, running with the Green Party, and she's progressive, and she's a feminist. But that isn't your threat is it? No.
You're not threatening to vote for the woman, or even the feminist woman. Rather, you are threatening to vote for the white man, and to reject not only the black man who you feel stole Clinton's birthright, but even the black woman in the race. And I wonder why? Could it be...?

See, I told you your whiteness was showing.

And now for a third question, and this is the biggie, so please take your time with it: How is it that you have managed to hold your nose all these years, just like a lot of us on the left, and vote for Democrats who we knew were horribly inadequate--Kerry, Gore, Clinton, Dukakis, right on down the uninspiring line--and yet, apparently can't bring yourself to vote for Barack Obama? A man who, for all of his shortcomings (and there are
several, as with all candidates put up by either of the two <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1932360689/counterpunchmaga> major corporate parties) is surely more progressive than any of those just mentioned. And how are we to understand that refusal--this sudden line in the proverbial sand--other than as a racist slap at a black man? You will vote for white men year after year after year--and are threatening to vote for another one just to make a point--but can't bring yourself to vote for a black man, whose political views come much closer to your own, in all likelihood, than do the views
of any of the white men you've supported before. How, other than as an act of racism, or perhaps as evidence of political insanity, is one to interpret such a thing?

See, black folks would have sucked it up, like they've had to do forever, and voted for Clinton had it come down to that. Indeed, they were on board the Hillary train early on, convinced that Obama had no chance to win and hoping for change, any change, from the reactionary agenda that has been so prevalent for so long in this culture. They would have supported the white woman--hell, for many black folks, before Obama showed his mettle they were downright excited to do so--but you won't support the black man. And yet you have the audacity to insist that it is you who are the most loyal constituency of the
Democratic Party, and the one before whom Party leaders should bow down, and whose feet must be kissed?

Your whiteness is showing.

Look, I couldn't care less about the Party personally. I left the Democrats twenty years ago when they told me that my activism in the Central America solidarity and South African anti-apartheid movements made me a security risk, and that I wouldn't be able to get clearance to be in some parade with Governor Dukakis. Yeah, seriously. But for you to act as though you are the indispensible voters, the most important, the ones whose views should be pandered to, whose every whim should be the basis for Party policy, is not only
absurd, it is also racist in that it, a) ignores and treats as irrelevant the much more loyal constituency of black folks, without whom no Democrat would have won anything in the past twenty years (and indeed the racial gap favoring the Democrats among blacks is about six times larger than the gender gap favoring them among white women, relative to white men); and b) demonstrates the mentality of entitlement and superiority that has been long ingrained in us as white folks--so that we believe we have the right to dictate the terms of political engagement, and to determine the outcome, and to get our way,
simply because for so long we have done just that.

But that day is done, whether you like it or not, and you are now left with two, and only two choices, so consider them carefully: the first is to stand now in solidarity with your black brothers and sisters and welcome the new day, and help to push it in a truly progressive and feminist and antiracist direction, while the second is to team up with white men to try and block the new day from dawning. Feel free to choose the latter. But if you do, please don't insult your own intelligence, or ours, by insisting that you've
done so as a radical political act.

You do fight dirty. You will never find a more committed "White man" to true liberation of blacks and whites is America than Tim Wise. I have tried to tell you that you can't trash
Whites because they are not Black Americans. Hillary and Bill are not that far, politically, from Tim Wise. There are not that many Whites like Tim and the Clintons, so stop referring to Hillary as that "White woman". I guess you will call Tim, that "White Man". You noticed Tim said that Baracks positions and policies are almost identical to Hillary's.

That is why we didn't need Obama when Hillary has the same political ideologies. Like Tim said, Blacks were solidly behind Hillary. Why did we need an unknown brother who split the Democratic Party, Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, Liberals, Moderates, some families, labor unions, and more. We cannot afford the division that he created by entering the race. Now,even these White women are divided.

Poor black people waited until the Iowa Caucus Whites gave their approval of Barack and they [blacks]dumped the Clintons.

Tim would not have to lecture the White Democratic women if Barack had kept his behind in the Senate and tried to learn what is going on in America. You can miss a lot having come from Hawaii. I bet he wouldn't be running for president if he lived in Birmingham, Alabama. The boy is crazy and naive, he has no idea the amount of danger he is in.

Marshal, Marshal,

How in the world can you say that the Clinton's are on the same page as Tim Wise. Tim has got a humane attitude that is based in reality. He just happens to be white. This is a rarity for a white, who happens to me male, to have such a realistic attitude. He is worthy because of his attitude, not because he is white. Your defeated candidate has an attitude that is based in entitlement because she is a white woman. Tim is talking about her. She and her husband have revealed they believe that she should have beat Obama because of her white entitlement. Obviously, the people thought differently. This is the truth of the matter. To tell the truth is not to play dirty. To tell the truth is just that, to tell the truth. If there is not much difference in policy then in the view of the people they must have voted for the best person. Whites and Blacks saw a better person in the Black man instead of that white woman. The jury is in. The white woman lost. The Black man won!! GO BARACK!! YES WE CAN!! YES WE WILL!! May God continue to guide our steps.

Good idea for doing something about our society of gasaholics besides sitting on our hands. Ironically, we haven't patronized Shell since the South African apartheid boycott. It was our nephew's silhouette on some of those bumper stickers that read, "Apartheid Is Wrong" and we're diehards against anyone who has profited off the misery of others. Even though it was by example that Shell is named the first target for this trial, boycotting them for us will be easy. But in Shell's defense, a North Carolina housekeeper tells us she uses Shell because their gas is cheaper than others now. If she is correct, we ask whether Shell’s current low prices could be attributed to diehards like us. Even if it is not, boycotts are proven strategy and the logic is certainly consistent with her report.

You are very slow! You want us to believe that Barack really won the Democratic nomination because White people wanted him more than they wanted Hillary? Are you serious? Did you see how many White people Hillary got [18 million]. Did you see how many Texans voted for her and Barack lost with just Houston and Dallas. Did you see the big industrial states go for Hillary [Calif, Ny, NJ, Mass, Penn, Ohio, Tx, and more]. These are Democrats not Republicans. The reason Barack won was because of the solid wall of Black people and some Whites. This is the Democratic Party, made up of liberals and Blacks. You are fooling yourself if you think these White Democrats [working class, ordinary Whites] want Obama for president.

McGovern thought he could make it with Blacks and Liberals and you see what happened to him. Barack has a unique opportunity to win because of the destitution of America by Bush. He is suppose to win if the sitting president has an economy in this bad shape. And contrasting old ass McCain to the young handsome Barack, there is no contest.

It has never been that I am not for the brother but I know a little politics; and you do not run a Black against a White in a majority White situation[district, county, city, state,or nation]. I know if we wanted a direct path to the White House we should have gone with someone who looks like the majority of the voters. I just don't see why we had to risk everything with this unknown brother with a good game.

Now, Pastor, you and your crowd have to hope, pray, beg, plead, and cry to White people to vote for the brother because there are not enough Blacks to get him in. This is a wasteful opportunity if this thing fails.

Well, your next response is that God has ordained Barack to be the Pharoah of this Egypt. You will say that we should believe that God has changed the hearts of the White voters and this is a new America. Because Barack said there is no Black America or a White America but only the United States of America. He also says, the fierce urgency of now, that he become president. And Blacks have achieved 90% of their rights. Pastor have you bought that stuff.

You cannot be from Mississippi or Alabama talking that kind of insanity, you must be from way offshore like Hawaii. That brother will not be about Black people if elected. We thought Clarence Thomas would look out for people who look like him but he fooled us. Like the "Black Agenda Report" article said, "fool me once shame on you.....".

Pastor, don't continue to wallow in denial about this deceiver from Hawaii. Wake up and look with your eyes and hear with your ears; your eyes and your ears don't lie. Stop it!! You are a powerful former Black Panther who has lost his way. You need to open your eyes and come to your senses about Barack Hussein Obama. We are stuck with the brother but we don't have to stay stuck on stupid, make him accountable.

By the way, you know Hillary and Bill are the closest Whites to Tim Wise. They have a proven track record of accomplishments in the White House, [22 million jobs, peace, budget surplus, prosperity, and good times in the 90's]. Those young people 18 - 30 years old do not know what the Clintons did for all of us. They need to be taught whose shoulders they are standing on. All they know about are the two dreadful terms under Bush. They scorn experience because of the failures of Bush but the successful Clinton experiences are unfamiliar to those young people.

May God have mercy on all of us!!

Be Blessed Pastor

Thank you for your historical comment. We can control our economic destiny by intelligently spending our money. Marshall had a lot to say. Some of it was worth reading. Most of it should be discarded. Marshal; I just heard a news flash. All the major networks are reporting that the white woman has dropped out of the race. It is time to move on. She is finnished. A Black man won!! All praises be to God!! This will probably the last post on this topic. I am putting up another article on this evening. It will deal with Barack, Hillary and God in this race. I know the White Woman, former first lady Hillary Clinton lost. What you keep ducking is the task ahead for the winner Barack. He has to obtain White votes to make it to the White House. All I wanted to confirm for myself and the other bloggers; is it our understanding that the Whites of America have new hearts. They are touched by God in order for Barack, the winner, to make President.

That is all I want to know. Again, Hillary is the loser to Barack. Lets see what he and the Whites will do in November. I also stated that his chances are good because of the bottoming out of America by Bush.

But, But if these changed White people vote for John McCain, will you and the Obama people finally realize that you are still in the most racist country on the planet.

Our young excited people for Obama don't know this crowd like we old jokers know them. They just don't know, and you fail to teach them that this American racist crowd is not changed and they are purely anti Black.

Yes the White woman lost and that is in the past but lets deal with Barack and the future. I'm waiting on your new Blog, the last one was important but not as exciting as Barack and Hillary bashing that we do back and forth.

Be Blessed
