The Impact of Hillary Being A White Woman

CNN recently reported that (CNN) — In what appear to be the New York senator's most blunt comments to date regarding a racial division in the Democratic presidential race, Hillary Clinton suggested Wednesday that "White Americans" are increasingly turning away from Barack Obama’s candidacy.

"I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on," Clinton said in an interview with USA TODAY .

Clinton cited an Associated Press poll "that found how Senator Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me."

Obama spokesman Bill Burton called Clinton's statements "not true and frankly disappointing."

I think there is some truth in Hillary’s position. Notice I said “some.” Mary Beth Schneider in the May 8, 2008 Indianapolis Star reported” nearly eight out of 10 Indiana Democratic voters were white-and 60 percent them backed Clinton.” However again quoting Mary Beth, “About 16 percent of Democrats said race was an important factor in deciding their vote. But those voters split between Obama and Clinton.” These statistics bear witness that Hillary got the overwhelming majority of white voters in Indiana. That is the part of her statement that is true. But because only 16% stated that race was a factor which the candidates split, therefore this fact flies in the face of Hillary’s conclusion that Barak is losing white support. The statistics show that he never had most of white support. How can you lose something that you didn’t have? For Mrs. Clinton to use the term “lose” actually skews the facts and promotes deception.

The CNN article goes on to state that “ Exit polls from Tuesday's primaries in Indiana and North Carolina show Clinton won about 60 percent of the white vote in both states. That percentage is down from the Ohio primary on March 4, in which Clinton won upwards of 65 percent of the white vote. Meanwhile, Clinton garnered 63 percent of the white vote in Pennsylvania on April 22.” This statistic shows that instead of Senator Obama losing what he had, he is actually gaining from what he didn’t have. If Mrs. Clinton got less of the white vote in Indiana and North Carolina than what she got in Ohio and Pennsylvania then it is she who is losing white support. Her loss has been Senator Obama’s gain!! Here we go again: Hillary lied about ducking bullets in Bosnia, she’s lied about getting more votes in the democratic nomination, now she is lying about how Barak is losing white support instead of gaining it. Why is Hillary able to get away with these blatant mistruths? I would suggest it is because she is a white woman. Let me explain.

Most people would verbally hit back at Hillary and call out her bold faced lies, instead of defending her lies as being other than race baiting as Bill O’Reilly did on his May 9, 2008 broadcast. However, the rules in America are clear. When Emmett Till supposedly whistled, or made a flirting remark to a white girl in Mississippi it cost him his life. Unfortunately, a Black man being depicted as somehow disrespecting a white is a rule that has not changed. If Barak were to call Hillary the liar that she is, then she would play the hurt white woman that had been mistreated by the fearful Black man. Barak is masterfully not falling into her trap. He is keeping the high road. And because he is, more whites are seeing the need for a change. Barak needs to stay on the high road and not choose to waddle in the mud with this deceptive white woman. God will see him and this nation through this obsolete and untrue race superiority strategy Clinton mess. I pray that God continues to order the steps of good Americans for the good of this nation.
